Enjoyed all aspects of overnight stay, food was excellent, staff very obliging, room was very comfortable.
Very large, comfortable room with spacious and modern bathroom. Outstanding food and unfailingly pleasant staff, who did everything they could to please without ever going over the top. Peaceful surroundings and only sorry I did not have time to sample the golf course.
A couple of very minor maintenance jobs needed doing in the bedroom, which you have reminded me I did not report - will write later today.
The setting and tudor design of the main building. The pool and spa area and the attention to detail which made it a real pleasure to use. Our room was convenient for the leisure centre.
Whilst our room was comfortable (room 30) it was small and rather cramped with little room between the bed and the dressing table. Being in a seperate building meant that we had to walk outside (raining) when going back to the main building and the dining room. The tennis courts are no longer in use and should be taken out of the internet site.
I thought the staff were really friendly efficient and engaging
I thought the coffee tea milk provision was a bit mean.
The outstanding quality was the Staff. Without exception they were friendly and helpful - a rarity these days. The rooms were very clean and well furnished as was the hotel overall. Food was very good , both the main restaurant and bar snack menus were comprehensive and breakfast was superb. Though a mainline rail service runs close to the hotel, the noise level from trains was very low and unobtrusive. We travel extensively and internationally, Nailcote Hall compares well anywhere in value for money and local facilities.
the ambience, the building, the staff were faultless. dinner was fabulous. our room was comfortable airy and clean. we will definitely make it our hotel of choice when next we need to be in the area
15 pounds for a buket of ice for your room , I would never stay hrea again
It was very quiet and peaceful. We live in a rural area so sometimes find it difficult to sleep if near a road, this Hotel was well situated and very quiet, apart from the usual noises of toilets flushing etc in the bathroom above ours. It seems that most hotels would benefit from better internal sound proofing. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again at the right price.
My husband and I decided to stay overnight on Christmas Eve to help start our festive celebrations. When we went up to our room we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite. This was perfect for us as it gave us a separate area on Christmas Day to open our presents! We had dinner in the Oak Rook and the food was amazing, the lady that served us was also excellent. Our younger waiters and waitresses out there could certainly learn a lot about good service from her. Breakfast on Christmas Day was lovely, we had a table over looking the grounds and the food once again was cooked to perfection. It was a wonderful start to our Christmas break, we would definitely go back and do it again. Next time we will be there early enough to use the leisure club!
Very helpful staff, nicely furnished, very comfortable
The room was a good size. Room service was a pleasant experience & the food was very good!
The dining room for breakfast is rather dark & seemed to have a lot of staff approaching the same tables asking the same questions.
Old world charm of a 16th century country manor
The annexe building housing most of the rooms and the health club is in need of redecoration.
Smart and well-run hotel, yet comfortable and relaxing too. Staff very friendly and professional. Lovely location, very handy for NEC. Food very good.
The service was outstanding. A really nice location and golf course
The gym is very very small. But a lovely pool
Well presented hotel in a lovely location. Staff were friendly and helpful without exception. Room was excellent, especially for the price. Breakfast was delicious. Stayed here for business and would certainly go back, either for business or leisure
